Fully faceted purple rhinestones combined with channel set paler purple stones embellished with gold tone acanthus leaf design. During the 1930's period the Duette style of brooches became popular where two pieces could be separated to be worn as dress clips. From the front appearance of this lovely vintage brooch it does look like it could be a Duette, but it is actually a one piece brooch. Overall dimension is 7cms x 3cms.
